The Gig Harbor Tides made easy work of the Mount Tahoma T-Birds on Thursday and carried off a 16-3 victory. Considering the Tides have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Gig Harbor and bumps their season record up to 7-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.5 runs over those games. As for Mount Tahoma, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Gig Harbor will square off against River Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mount Tahoma, they will welcome Timberline at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The T-Birds will need to watch out since the Blazers have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
