Soccer Recap: Mt. Hope Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hope on Monday, Mt. Hope came back down to earth. The Huskies fell just short of the North Smithfield Northmen by a score of 5-4 on Thursday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Mt. Hope couldn't quite close it out.

They hit North Smithfield with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Aidan Hudak (2), Thomas Levis, and Aidan Pereira.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 4-4-3. As for North Smithfield, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Mt. Hope didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Tiverton on the 26th. As for North Smithfield, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-2 defeat against Barrington on the 29th.
