Volleyball Recap: Cerritos Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Cerritos was the 3-0 winner over Oxford Academy when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Dons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-27, 25-18, 25-21.

Among those leading the charge was Andy Ha, who had 14 digs and two assists. That's the most digs he has posted over his last two games. Ian Truong also deserves some recognition as he had his first kills of the season.

Cerritos' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-7. As for Oxford Academy, they pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Cerritos wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Pioneer on the 4th. As for Oxford Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Glenn on the 4th.
