Columbia won the last time they faced Valmeyer and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles blew past the Pirates 15-7. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

Columbia has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-12 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Valmeyer, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season.

Columbia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valmeyer, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Waterloo at 6:00 p.m.
