Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph's Catholic Victorious

St. Joseph's Catholic posted their closest victory since August 30th on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Blythewood Bengals 2-1. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bengals, too.

OLIVIA PATTERSON paced St. Joseph's Catholic's offense, picking up nine kills. PATTERSON got some help from EMI REESE HAND and her 26 assists. AMELIA GIBEAU controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

When it comes to explaining why Blythewood lost, don't look at Grace Campbell. Despite the final result, she had seven digs and three aces.

St. Joseph's Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Blythewood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-8.
