Volleyball Recap: Eastmoor Academy Comes Up Short

Eastmoor Academy lost against Briggs back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bruins. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Briggs scored at least 21 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 24-26, 25-21, 25-23.

Eastmoor Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Briggs, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Coming up, Eastmoor Academy will square off against West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Briggs, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Hamilton Township on the 24th.
