Soccer Preview: Miramar vs. Fort Lauderdale
The Miramar Patriots will venture away from home to challenge the Fort Lauderdale Flying L at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
Miramar is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They fell 4-2 to Boyd Anderson last Tuesday.
Stephen Dussan wasn't going to let the Cobras walk away unscathed as he scored both of Miramar's goals, bringing his season total up to three goals.
Meanwhile, Fort Lauderdale won against Blanche Ely last Monday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again last Wednesday. The Flying L's had just enough and edged out Stranahan 2-1. The win continues a trend for Fort Lauderdale in their matchups with Stranahan: they've now won five in a row.
Miramar's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Fort Lauderdale, the victory got them back to even at 2-2-1.
