Recap: Jackson Aggies vs. Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Jackson Aggies, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of 20-17. Jackson's defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.
Elijah Hall was his usual excellent self, rushing for 127 yards, while also throwing for 188 yards and two touchdowns for Booker T. Washington.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Booker T. Washington's defense and their five sacks. Jai Uhuru was especially locked on to Jackson's QB and sacked him three times.
Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 11-1. As for Booker T. Washington, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.
Jackson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Booker T. Washington will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Montgomery Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. The pair have allowed few points on average, (Montgomery Catholic: 5.6, Booker T. Washington: 17.6) so any points scored will be well earned.
