Baseball Game Preview: Barron Collier Cougars vs. Jesuit Tigers

For the second straight game, Barron Collier will face off against Jesuit. The Cougars will face off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Barron Collier is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Barron Collier heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Monday. They came up short against Jesuit, falling 8-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Cougars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

For Jesuit's part, Wilson Andersen made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. Andersen has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.
