Softball Recap: Key West Conchs vs. Palmer Trinity Falcons
Key West had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by a 14-3 margin over the Palmer Trinity Falcons on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Key West considering their one-run performance the matchup before.
Breanna Breener tossed a big game, striking out ten batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive pitching appearances.
At the plate, Nina Manresa was incredible, going 2-for-2 with a home run, five RBI, and two runs. Alexa Condella was another key contributor, going 1-for-4 with two runs, a triple, and two RBI.
