After a string of seven wins, Baldwin's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trinity Hillers.

Melina Defelice spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on nine hits.

At the plate, Ryley Shaw made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Baldwin's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 9-2. As for Trinity, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
