Soccer Recap: Crowley Takes a Loss

Crowley's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Lake Ridge Eagles by a score of 3-2. If Crowley was looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Crowley and nudges their season record down to 2-8-2. As for Lake Ridge, they now have a winning record of 5-4-2.

Crowley will square off against Mansfield Legacy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Ridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Weatherford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lake Ridge has three straight victories, Weatherford has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.
