Soccer Recap: Oak Grove Comes Up Short

Oak Grove managed to keep up with Belton until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Panthers came up short against the Pirates, falling 4-0. Oak Grove were not able to make up for their defeat to Belton from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Oak Grove's loss dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Belton, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Oak Grove wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 7-0 defeat against Van Horn on the 16th. As for Belton, they will face off against Pleasant Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pleasant Hill will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Belton surely won't give up without a fight.
