Clark is 9-1 against LEE since November of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Both will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. Clark has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Clark faced off against Johnson on Saturday. Clark strolled past Johnson with points to spare, taking the game 60-44.

Meanwhile, LEE unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. The contest between them and Churchill didn't end well, with LEE falling 69-51. While losing is never fun, the Volunteers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 265th, while the Chargers are ranked 34th).

Clark will have to contain Rosanelly Pastrano as she made an impact in LEE's last game. She posted 29 points in addition to six boards and four steals. That was a full 56.9% of LEE's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilah Yanover, who put up nine points.

Even though they lost, LEE smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in ten consecutive games.

Clark's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for LEE, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-5.

Clark was able to grind out a solid victory over LEE in their previous meeting back in January, winning 62-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clark since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
