Football Recap: Downey Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Monday just wasn't the day for Downey's offense. They had to suffer through a 45-0 loss at the hands of the Kimball Jaguars.

Emma Coronado continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Kimball, throwing for 262 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of her passes, and also punching in one score on the ground. Karaliya DePerio was in the mix as well, providing the Jaguars with two TDs.

Downey's defeat dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Kimball, their record is now 4-1.

Coming up, Downey will head out to square off against El Capitan at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Gauchos' defense has only allowed 7.5 points per game this season, so the Knights' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Kimball, they will be playing at home against Sierra at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Jaguars 2.6, the Timberwolves 12.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
