Softball Recap: Beatty Comes Up Short

Beatty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the Mountain View Christian Saints. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-5 on Monday.

Beatty saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Juliana Turco, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Beatty's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Mountain View Christian, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Coming up, Beatty will take on Sandy Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets are facing the Sidewinders at the right time seeing as the Sidewinders are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Mountain View Christian, they will square off against Beaver Dam at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The Saints' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Diamondback have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
