South Adams extended their winning streak to four on Thursday, bumping them up to 4-0. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Winchester Community Golden Falcons. That's more bragging rights for the Starfires, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Having lost for the first time this season, Winchester Community fell to 3-1. The loss put an end to their undefeated start to the season.

Winchester Community lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Lydia Huston, who had 11 digs and eight assists.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Adams will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Parkway at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Winchester Community, they will take on Randolph Southern at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
