Etowah's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for White Plains, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Etowah will square off against Alexandria at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Valley Cubs will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Blue Devils surely won't give up without a fight. As for White Plains, they will challenge Anniston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 11.5 points per game this season, so the Wildcats' offense will have their work cut out for them.
