After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shelbyville Central, Whitwell was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Warren County Pioneers & Lady Pioneers by a score of 6-1. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Pioneers & Lady Pioneers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Brayden Riley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
