Basketball Game Preview: Winfield Pirates vs. Marion County Red Raiders + How To Watch

The Winfield Pirates will challenge the Marion County Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Winfield will be strutting in after a victory while Marion County will be coming in after a loss.

Winfield saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 58-27 win over Sulligent. The contest marked the Pirates' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Marion County came up short against Cordova on Tuesday and fell 45-37.

Winfield will need to focus on slowing down Philip Wilson, one of several Marion County players who made an impact when they last played. He posted five points and 13 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiptyn Adkins, who put up nine points.

Marion County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Winfield, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
