Lyons and Oak Park-River Forest squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Lyons had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 2-1. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Gus Leman was a one-man wrecking crew For Oak Park-River Forest. as he had 22 digs. Those 22 digs gave Leman a new career-high.

Lyons' defeat dropped their record down to 29-9. As for Oak Park-River Forest, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-4 record this season.
