Volleyball Recap: Pike Valley Comes Up Short

Pike Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Linn Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-10.

Pike Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Linn, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

Pike Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Republic County on the 4th. As for Linn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Lakeside on the 4th.
