Softball Recap: Cumberland Valley's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Five

With a playoff win on the line, Cumberland Valley rose to the challenge on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Conestoga Pioneers a 14-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The win was the fifth in a row for Cumberland Valley, bringing their record up to 18-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Conestoga, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.

As of now, neither Cumberland Valley nor the Pioneers have any future games scheduled.
