Basketball Game Preview: Southeast Warren Warhawks vs. Nodaway Valley Wolverines

Southeast Warren hasn't had much luck against Nodaway Valley recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Southeast Warren Warhawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Nodaway Valley Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. Southeast Warren knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully Nodaway Valley likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Southeast Warren was fully in charge, breezing past Central Decatur 62-32. The Warhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Nodaway Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Lenox, falling 64-43.

Southeast Warren's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Nodaway Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.

Everything came up roses for Southeast Warren against Nodaway Valley when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured an 80-24 win. In that contest, Southeast Warren amassed a halftime lead of 46-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
