Hawkins entered their tilt with McLeod on Tuesday with 16 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 17. They enjoyed a cozy 50-33 victory over the McLeod Longhorns. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 59-32 back in January.

Hawkins' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Derek Hollman, who went 6 for 13 en route to 16 points. Brayden Givens was another key player, putting up six points and ten rebounds.

Hawkins smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in eight consecutive matches.

Hawkins' win was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 29-2. As for McLeod, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-23.
