While Warren's victory against Gallia Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Blue Devils 6-5. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Warren let Jacob Sealey and Braylen Murray run wild. Sealey scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Murray scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits Sealey has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Saben Jonas, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Warren was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Warren's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Gallia Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warren will host Fort Frye at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gallia Academy, they will face off against Rock Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Redmen's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Blue Devils' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
