Baseball Game Preview: Vision vs. Parma Panthers

Vision will head out on the road to square off against the Parma Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Vision has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 14.

Vision lost 9-3 to Nampa Christian on Wednesday.

Vision saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Warth, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Dakota Williams also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Parma, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Melba on Wednesday, sneaking past 3-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Ethan Obenchain spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kaden Cole was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Parma's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-9. As for Vision, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.
