Somerset got themselves on the board against St. Croix Central on Friday, but St. Croix Central never followed suit. They blew past the Panthers 10-0. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won five games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Somerset is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for St. Croix Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
