Gorton won the last time they faced Lincoln and things went their way on Monday too. The Wolves put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Gorton walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19, 25-20.

Gorton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Katie Rojas, who had six aces and five digs. Those six aces gave Rojas a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ny'Asia Carcamo, who had five kills, five aces, and four digs.

Gorton's record is now 2-0.

Coming up, Gorton will venture away from home to square off against Poughkeepsie at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
