Basketball Recap: Westbury Takes a Loss

Westbury was the 79-44 winner over Kashmere when they last played one another back in January of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Westbury Huskies took a 56-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kashmere Fighting Rams. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westbury's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Kashmere, they moved to 4-9 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westbury will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Austin at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Kashmere will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Wheatley at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
