Flag Football Recap: North Salinas Comes Up Short

North Salinas fell victim to Pajaro Valley and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Grizzlies and fell 36-0. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 682nd, while the Grizzlies are ranked 225th).

North Salinas has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Pajaro Valley, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. North Salinas is set to challenge their familiar foe Pacific Collegiate at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pajaro Valley will face off against rival Everett Alvarez at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
