Recap: Miami Warriors vs. Nazareth Swifts

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Miami Warriors walked away with it. They blew past Nazareth 50-30. The win was just business as usual for Miami, who after 11 games remain undefeated this season.

It was another big night for Haiden Thompson, who threw for 279 yards and five touchdowns on only 18 passes, and also rushed for 167 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. Breken Early was another key contributor, picking up 93 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Miami's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 2-8 Wildorado and 3-7 White Deer (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 44.3% over those games). As for Nazareth, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Miami will head out on the road to face off against Springlake-Earth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Springlake-Earth is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Nazareth does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
