Soccer Game Preview: Milton vs. Union Grove

The Milton Red Hawks will face off against the Union Grove Broncos on Saturday. Milton is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

Milton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Westosha Central.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Union Grove). They blew past Wilmot 13-0 on Tuesday. Considering Union Grove have won nine contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Wilmot from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Norah McNulty led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by herself.

Union Grove has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 41 goals over those ten matchups. As for Milton, their win bumped their record up to 6-8-4.
