Soccer Recap: Boardman vs. Harding
Boardman has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 7. Neither they nor the Harding Raiders could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. While a more conclusive result would've been nice, the Spartans got plenty of practice considering the match was the highest-scoring draw the team's played all season.
Boardman's draw gives them a new season record of 3-7-4. As for Harding, they moved theirs to 7-5-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boardman will venture away from home to square off against South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harding, they will head out to take on Howland at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Howland is on a five-game streak of home wins, Harding a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch.
