Basketball Recap: East Clarendon Wolverines vs. Mullins Auctioneers
East Clarendon lost against Mullins back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The East Clarendon Wolverines were outmatched by the Mullins Auctioneers and fell 66-32. The Wolverines were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-14.
It was another big night for Dakarai Worley, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 15 rebounds for Mullins. Worley has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 17 times he's played. Deyon Ford was another key player, putting up 13 points and three steals.
East Clarendon's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Mullins, their victory bumped their record up to 15-4.
East Clarendon will head out on the road to take on Atlantic Collegiate Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Atlantic Collegiate Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 matchups -- so hopefully East Clarendon likes a good challenge. As for Mullins, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Kingstree at 7:30 p.m.
