South Pittsburg piles up the points against Gordonsville

Recap: South Pittsburg Pirates vs. Gordonsville Tigers
The South Pittsburg Pirates had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They claimed a resounding 48-7 win over Gordonsville at home. The victory was just business as usual for South Pittsburg, who after 13 games remain undefeated this season.
South Pittsburg pushed their record up to 13-0 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.3 points per game. As for Gordonsville, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
South Pittsburg will head out on the road to face off against Oliver Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oliver Springs will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 177th, while South Pittsburg is ranked 48th). Gordonsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
