Baseball Recap: Memphis Central Has No Trouble Against Trezevant

Memphis Central's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 13-6 margin over the Trezevant Bears. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won four matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Malachai Adams was a standout: he scored three runs and stole Eight bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. Tyler Yates also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Memphis Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Trezevant only posted a batting average of .200.

Memphis Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Trezevant, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3-1.

Coming up, Memphis Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Middle College at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Memphis Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.5 runs per game this season. As for Trezevant, they are taking a road trip to challenge Douglass at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
