Softball Recap: Bowie Comes Up Short

Bowie lost against Haltom back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Volunteers lost 16-5 to the Buffalos.

Bowie's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Haltom, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-14 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bowie will venture away from home to take on Lamar at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Volunteers are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Haltom, they will take on South Grand Prairie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Buffalos surely won't give up without a fight.
