Volleyball Recap: Ragsdale Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Ragsdale was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Southern Guilford on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Southeast Guilford Falcons on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-17, 25-27, 25-17.

Southeast Guilford got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Clarke McLaughlin out in front who had 15 digs and eight assists. Another player making a difference was Emma Vaughn, who had 12 digs.

Ragsdale's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Southeast Guilford, their record now sits at 4-1.

Coming up, Ragsdale will welcome Dudley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Southeast Guilford, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against T.W. Andrews on the 21st.
