Softball Recap: Marion Comes Up Short

Marion and Columbus squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Marion had to settle for second. They came up short against the Cardinals, falling 20-2. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 20-10-3. As for Columbus, the victory was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-5-1.

Marion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Columbus, they will face off against Orange Grove on Saturday. The Cardinals will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least ten runs in their last six matches.
