Basketball Recap: Santa Monica Takes a Loss

Santa Monica was the 76-66 winner over Lawndale when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Santa Monica Vikings were just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 48-47 to the Lawndale Cardinals. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Santa Monica's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Lawndale, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 17-10.

As of now, neither Santa Monica nor Lawndale have any future games scheduled.
