Hayfield had won two straight games and Alex Mcfarlane did his part to make it three on Monday. The Hayfield Hawks walked away with a 69-62 win over the Flint Hill Huskies thanks in part to Mcfarlane, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

Cameron Prosper was another key player, putting up 11 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Hayfield's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points over those games. As for Flint Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Hayfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 78-34 win against Falls Church on the 4th. As for Flint Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 84-56 victory against Maret on the 4th.
