Volleyball Recap: Peaster's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Peaster had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They blew past the Comanche Indians 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Greyhounds also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Peaster took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-13, 25-7.

Morgan Adair paced Peaster's offense, picking up seven kills. Adair got some help from Cashly Pennell and her eight assists. Adair was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Peaster's win bumped their record up to 26-12-1. As for Comanche, the loss snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 23-5 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Peaster will square off against rival Breckenridge at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Comanche is set to take on their familiar foe Tolar at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
