Volleyball Recap: Lancaster Find Success + How To Watch

Lancaster won the last time they faced Teays Valley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Golden Gales had just enough and edged out the Vikings 3-2.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (101-94) Lancaster actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 14-25, 15-25, 15-13.

Zoey VanGundy paced Lancaster's offense, picking up 14 kills. VanGundy got some help from Bella McKnight and her 40 assists. McKnight was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Lancaster's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Teays Valley, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
