Baseball Recap: Lowry Comes Up Short

After flying high against Wooster on Saturday, Lowry came back down to earth. The Buckaroos came up short against the Colts on Saturday, falling 15-2. The Buckaroos were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Colts earlier this season, when they won 8-0.

Lowry saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julian Valencia, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Lowry's loss dropped their record down to 2-23-1. As for Wooster, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lowry is set to face off against their familiar foe Sparks at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wooster will challenge rival Churchill County at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
