On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on MJ Hall, who went 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Logue, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5.
Meanwhile, Williamsville made easy work of Mt. Zion on Saturday and carried off a 14-4 victory. The win was just what Williamsville needed coming off of an 8-0 defeat in their prior match.
Argenta-Oreana's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0. As for Williamsville, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
