Football Recap: Aurora Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Saturday just wasn't the day for Aurora Central's offense. They had to suffer through a 59-0 loss at the hands of the Northfield Nighthawks. It was the first time this season that the Trojans let down their fans at home.

Aurora Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Northfield, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Aurora Central will head out to square off against Denver North at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.56 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Northfield, they will venture away from home to challenge George Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
