Softball Recap: Rockbridge County Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Rockbridge County's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Turner Ashby Knights on Tuesday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Rockbridge County now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Turner Ashby, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Coming up, Rockbridge County will venture away from home to face off against Broadway at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Turner Ashby, they will square off against East Rockingham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Knights 2.3, the Eagles 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
