Overton had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Shelbyville Dragons. The Mustangs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 22nd (when they won 3-0).

Overton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Shelbyville between 16 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 25-17.

Overton's victory bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Shelbyville, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Looking ahead, Overton will challenge Ore City at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Shelbyville, they are taking a road trip to square off against Waskom at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
