South View extended their home winning streak to 15 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Jordynn Parnell. The South View Tigers secured a 58-52 W over the Seventy-First Falcons on Wednesday thanks in part to Parnell, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last 20 games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Danauje Brooks, who posted 21 points and four steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of South View's points.

Despite the defeat, Seventy-First saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Alani-Skye Wilkerson dropped a triple-double on 18 points, ten boards, and ten assists. The dominant performance gave Wilkerson a new career-high in assists. Jewel Gully was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

South View has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points over those games. As for Seventy-First, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.

South View wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 65-44 win against Gray's Creek on the 7th. As for Seventy-First, they have also already played their next matchup, a 51-34 victory against Purnell Swett on the 7th.
